Universal American Corp. to Present at the Barclays Capital Global Healthcare and the 30th Annual Raymond James Institutional Investors Conferences on Wednesday March 11th

RYE BROOK, N.Y., Mar 04, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Universal American Corp. (NYSE: UAM) announced today that its management will address institutional investors at two investment conferences scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, 2009 as follows:

  • Barclays Capital Global Healthcare Conference: Universal American's Chairman & CEO, Richard Barasch, will present at 10:15 am ET, at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, in Miami Beach, FL.
  • 30th Annual Raymond James Institutional Investors Conference: Universal American's Executive Vice President & CFO, Robert Waegelein, will present at 10:25 am ET at the JW Marriott Grande Lake Hotel, in Orlando, FL.

Investors will be able to access both presentations live over the Internet via the Investor Relations section of the Company's website at www.universalamerican.com. A replay of Mr. Barasch's presentation will be available the same day, within approximately 4 hours of the closing of the live presentation and will remain available for 90 days.
